Rail Ale & Blues Festival
The Cleethorpes Rail Ale and Blues Festival returns to Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway for its sixth year! A stunning line up of blues musicians from around the country will be making their way to the stage at Lakeside Station. The award winning ‘Signal Box Inn’ will be bursting at the seams with a superb variety of real ales, and they’ll be even more ales available from the external bar in ‘The Engine Shed’!

The Ted Lewis Centre
A trip out to Barton to visit the Ted Lewis Centre.
Discover the eventful life of a local six-year-old who became an outstanding novelist, artist and jazz musician. Ted Lewis wrote Get Carter, became animation manager on the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine and was a pianist in The Unity Jazz Band. This will be followed by a guided walk in the town.

A visit to the local Caxton Theatre for Set in WWII, during an air raid. Sir, the last of the great, but dying, breed of English actor-managers, is in a very bad way tonight. As his dresser tries valiantly to prepare him to go on stage as King Lear, Sir is having great difficulty remembering who and where he is, let alone Lear's lines. With a Herculean effort on the part of Norman, the dresser, Sir does finally make it on stage, and through the performance.
