Attendance Costs

The accommodation prices have increased slightly this year by a £5.00 per person per night based on two people sharing a double/ twin room.

A 2020 full two night room sharing package will be £145.00 per person staying from Friday night until Sunday (as opposed to the £135.00 2019 figure). All the options available with the total costings are attached below:

The Jacobean has also advised us they have reduced their number of family rooms so there are only 5 twin rooms available. They have plenty of doubles.

2019 DETAILS

MOTIONS / ITEMS FOR DEBATE / AGENDA ITEMS
These must be received by the HGS 28 days in advance of the NAGM - Sat Jan 26 - with Proposer and Seconder in the case of group motions. Late motions will not be accepted unless in exceptional circumstances.   If you need help in the wording of a motion, please contact me or a member of the NEC in good time so we can help you get the wording right in advance of the deadline.
All supporting documentation to also be received by the HGS within this time.

TROPHIES
PRESIDENT'S TROPHY
Awarded to the best group within the Federation. Nominations to be received one month prior to the NAGM. Weds Jan 23
RECRUITMENT TROPHY
Awarded to the Group which has made the most consistent effort over the previous year to recruit and retain members. Nominations to be received one month prior to the NAGM. Weds Jan 23
NEW GROUP TROPHY
This is won by the best Group to open during the previous year and recognises the effort put in by its members to increase membership and participate in Plus activities. Nominations to be received one month prior to the NAGM. Weds Jan 23
GOLD TRAIL TROPHY
Awarded to the Group which has raised money for charity in the most novel way. All entries should be sent to the office to be received one month prior to the NAGM. Weds Jan 23
CHARITIES TROPHY
The National Finance Officer awards this to the Group which raises the highest sum of money for any charity or charities, including the Charles Padgham Wing, between NAGM's. This is judged on receipts received up to the Monday before the NAGM. Mon Feb 18
MOST IMPROVED GROUP
Needs to be nominated by an Area Chairman before the end of January 2019
BEST EVENT
Needs to be nominated by an Area Chairman before the end of January 2019
Norbury Trophy (Best Magazine)
Please send on a URL or 3 hard copies of your magazine if you would like to be considered for this award.

Please polish / clean your trophy before returning!

Adhering to the above will greatly support your NEC in preparing for the NAGM which will result in a smoother running of the NAGM, and thence, more drinking time afterwards.
